ZUNE crashed and crashed the firmware.
Ok so it just happened to crash, kept showing me the battery sign. fine.
I plug it into my USB to charge it, and eventually the zune logo shows up and stays up without blinking. NOW, the bar isnt loading while the zune logo is there and I get a screen where it tells me to wait. Then its telling steps to restore my firmware, So fine. I follow the instructions.
I'm on number 2 which says.
"On your PC, open the Zune software and restore the Zune device firmware"
so fine I do that, and window pops up and theres an agreement there, and a button that says install. So I hit install. and it gives me ANOTHER error.
"DEVICE WAS NOT UPDATED"
Error Summary;
Can't perform this action because there isnt enough available space on your computer. Delete some files from your hard disk, then try again.
Error Code:
C00D1195
ok so I'm like what the hell now, I hit the web help and I skim a little. The requirement to do this is 200mb I have 2.5 gigs of harddrive space left. I know that can't be the problem right? I try reseting my zune again, same menu pops up. So I restart my PC twice and redid the steps. Same Error code again.
What can I do now? I don't get it. I don't have warranty or anything on it, I've been using my zune fine for a while now. Oh its the 30 gig one also. The Older model version. Any ideas what I should try? This is getting really frustrating.
