I think it said something about the depleting ozone layer and something like that. I wasn't really paying attention. Either way, I think that it would take something massive to cause something so huge. Losing all of our drinking water seems a little far-fetched unless something drastic happened, such as a meteor smashing into the planet and sending up plumes of dust which would trap heat and raise the temperature of our planet by hundreds of degrees. The odds are pretty low, though.
