Okay, I know, I have a 30GB myself, but I had one of the kids on my bus prove the 80GB to be Pretty darn water resistant/proof. He's a member of the crew (rowing) team, and had his in his pocket while they were taking the shell out of the water.. Me? 1st day, It became a mad scramble to get inside.. I hooked-up my 30GB to get it registered, updated, etc.. As soon as it installed the new firmware, it reset, and right in the middle of rebooting, CRASHED. Dead stop in the middle of the start-up.. locked solid, and I mean SOLID! couldn't power-down, all the key combinations didn't work.. just stopped cold.. I managed to find how to open the case, unplug the battery, reconnect it, and power it back up.. WHEW Again!

*mimics deep game voice* IMPRESSIVE... but anyway, yeah thats quite awesome, how waterproof / damage-proof are ipods???
