the 2nd gen zunes are nice, but nothing beats the 1st gen zune hardware. I can gladly sacrifice my ability to use a squircle in order to have the zune 30. I'd gladly upgrade to a zune 100...etc by taking my 30GB apart (carefully, and not today) and buying and installing a 100GB zune compatible hard drive (not too hard to find.) then, there you have it, one of the best portable media players ever, and it's nearly impossible to scratch, and real hard to mess up the internal components. Also, don't forget that the zune's are cheaper (typically) than ipods and many other media players.
