Okay, I have revisited Obama's web site and his proposal goes against the concession the dems have already made.
He says all troops out within 16 months. Thats conventional forces.
I will give you a paycheck if he does that because he, along with plenty others, said that it could not happen that fast.
This is why politicians piss me off. They flip and flop and change words and manipulate. What they say they mean until it's not beneficial, then it is not what they meant.
Ack, politics is draining. I would be horrible at it because I would spit truth and not be elected.
I even avoid office politics like the plague!
Yes, I know that they'd ramp up special forces, they told us all about it. So strain is not relieved, just redistributed.
Taxes kill my pay check as it is. It is not an illusion when Va raised taxes that I had less money that was supposed to goto transportation in Hampton Roads, but the road got worse, traffic is an increasing problem with the tunnels, and abuse of funding is a reality.
I am not arguing, I do agree we need to pay some taxes. We need to support our country somehow.
I also do not like forced garnishment of my wage to redistribute to others as a handout here and abroad.
