THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO ME!!

The problem is that your PC uses too much power, and doesn't have enough power to permanently connect your Zune, which is why it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

I fixed this by getting a self-powered USB hub. One cord gives it power from a power outlet, another part is USB and goes into your PC, and it usually has 4 or more USB slots. Get one of those, it fixed the problem for me.
