A really great site is
Librivox, where volunteers are trying to record everything in project Gutenberg (sp?) i.e. everything written that is not under copyright. There's a lot more there than you may think. All in mp3 format, and they even offer an RSS feed for each book so that you can sync it just like you would a podcast. Separate tracks for each chapter, usually. Anyway, great stuff, check it out.
