I had this problem, I would hit wireless sync, hear the connection beep, device manager would give me a code 10... the whole 9 yards. I followed your advice and rebooted each of Zune's services, as that seemed reasonable enough though I can't imagine how this would work... now when I try to sync it does not even connect, the computer never recognizes the Zune's existence.

How very strange...

Also, for those of you who still have this problem, if you have Zone Alarm Pro or another software based firewall, kill it. Somehow Zone Alarm (Perhapse the True Vector service, but I'm not sure) creates a conflict for me... shutting down ZA allowed me to wirless sync fine (It's not the firewall itself blocking the Zune either, I've checked that and given it full access.)
