How much free space do you have on it? If you have less than 1 Gb, it won't work - you'll need to take some stuff off...
If you have a lot of free space, simply restart the Zune (back button + up on the middle button) and restart the Zune Software and it should work (I had a similar problem with my Zune 80)

EDIT - I too have both the Zune 80 and Zune 30 and they both work...
