#2 complaint - there still is that feature in a different form. Simply click the List at the right above your music collection. Right click the the column headers and choose to add the column 'Date added' and then you can sort with the most recently added.
#3 complaint - click the little pink icon in the lower left hand corner as your music plays and you get your now playing list....
