There are quick and easy ways to take advantage of that large Zune screen without even shelling out one penny (and legally!). If you've already got DVDs or videos, check out the list of FREE converters to get them onto your Zune.
But what if you haven't got any videos? Fret not, click on....
Google offers millions of videos ready for download (even music videos!). Simply follow these simple steps:
1. Go to videos.google.com 2. Select the "Videos hosted by Google" option under the search bar at the top 3. Search for a video (type in your favorite music artist, TV show, or topic) 4. Select and preview the video you want. 5. If it looks like something you want to put on your Zune, click the white "download" button next to the video playing 6. Yes it will say "Video iPod/Sony PSP" but that's the setting you want (you'd think as resourceful as Google is, they'd have heard of Zune by now). 7. Be sure to save in your Videos folder (or where ever your Zune Software monitors for video, typically it's 'My Videos' or 'Videos') 8. Open the Zune Software. It should automatically update and show it. If not, you can always drag and drop it to your videos. 9. Connect your Zune and sync and Voilà! You've got FREE vids on your Zune!
And if you like Youtube videos, there's a FREE way of getting them on your Zune too! Simply go to youtubedownload.altavista.org to get the latest freeware youtube downloader!
