Wired.com

David Becker, a Wired blogger has come out and admitted he's a hypocrite.  After slamming the Zune over the past year he's had a change of heart.  "It's not deadly after-all!"  He writes.  He didn't expect what he writes as an "attitude change" on the device he's so liberally criticized. 

There's something oddly transgressive about wedding oneself to a product so resolutely unfashionable. Makes me want to go into the shiny new Apple store in my neighborhood, adopt a loud Jerry Lewis voice and ask the clerk: "Do you have any headphones that would work well with my ZUNE?"

He even want's to make a T-shirt that reads, "Screw you! I'm listening to my Zune!"

And he's not the only one on Wired that's had a change of heart.  Jose Fermoso and Danny Dumas write,

The kids are getting a Zune for Christmas, even if they asked Santa for an iPod.

They go on to compare the Zune and iPod head-to-head, and explain why the Zune is the better bet this holiday season.  They even give readers the ability to vote which one they'd choose (Zune is winning!).

I also like WIRED, I just gave them my 2 year subscription money 2 weeks ago....they sent me a free one in the mail....I didn't even know why, I never even heard of it, let alone wanted it.....but I read it, its now one of my fav mags now. Since nothing works on Mac anyway, buy the Zune. You can't beat $14.99 a month for unlimited downloads. Apple has NEVER provided a firmware update for their Ipods. Nevertheless one that completely revamps your hardware and makes it into something completely new! You can't beat wireless sync and built in receiver. Games are coming in July of 2008 (DDR!!!!) The most disturbing thing I noted was that there are posts by some that can't seem to figure out the software?!?! Wow... I mean, seriously? Really?!?! Couldn't figure it out?!?!? Do you have two synapses you could rub together to form a thought? Maybe you should stick with all the Crappleites and go back to Ipod. They are built for simpletons like you. Wow... Seriously...
