The Wall Street Journal has tallied the votes and have read their vedirct:
....in a highly improbable move, Zune surged from less than 1% through most of the polling to 28% at the end...
Well, the iPhone/iPod did win with 465,121 votes, with Zune in second. So, will this poll change people's lives? Does it have any real significance? Well, it just may! How many people look to Wall Street for financial information? Now the majority of people don't give a hoot, and that's OK....but what was really shown was how the Zune Community could respond to whining iFans.... And thanks for everyone who voted! It was pretty intense. At one point, the iPhone/iPod was holding steady while Zune almost reached 30% of the total votes (with a little help of course). That's when the iFans began retaliating; using their own forms of 'voting' to hold the lead. At one point they were getting 1,000 votes per second! Special thanks goes out to Greg who 'helped' greatly! If anything else, it was pretty entertaining watching the drama unfold! Yeah, and I admit - pretty dumb, but entertaining no less! |
