Zune Integration Coming to Windows Mobile 7!

October 22, 2009 by Dilpickle1

Its about time! Today, Steve Ballmer announced that Windows Mobile 7 will include Zune integration! This means that the name "Zune" will get "out there" more, and the Zune will become more popular than ever! What do you guys think? Is this good? Bad? Is Microsoft finally going in the right direction some more?

I personally think so, With the ZuneHD, and Windows 7 both being a pretty good success, bringing Zune to Windows Mobile might do good for both the Zune, and Windows Mobile.

It has been rumored for a while, but it's finally getting confirmed.

I don't want Zune integration, I want a Zune Phone!

Apple didn't make billions off iPod integration, they made the iPhone.

IMO, this is great news, now if only the price of the plan for a smart phone would be under $70/month i may consider it. it would be nice to only carry around my phone instead of my phone and zune....but i need a zune in my life....even if it is just the music and video player of a zune.

Do you really feel this way? That if people want something that isn't on an agenda (yet), they should just "stop whining"? What is the point of these forums then?

Anyways, I think no one cares about Zune integration into windows mobile. It's just a big sham. No one wants to pay for music anymore, so what is the point of using resources for this when they could just be working hard to make the Zune HD a decent platform?

Well, since the Zune team keeps talking about moving from Zune hardware to a "Zune Experience", I'm assuming they mean adding the whole social and marketplace thing to Windows Mobile...which no one cares about. No one really is excited about being able to pay for music from another service.

The thing that I have heard that's bad about Zune integration in phones is that it might kill The Social, but that doesn't seem to be a promblem because it looks like people aren't caring much about this.
I had wanted Zune integration on my phone but that was before I got my Zune. I had just wanted to run up my play count because I was in competition with my friend who had a Zune to get a higher play count.
