Which Apps Do You Want on the Zune HD?

I dont know how they would be able to pull of a YT app if the browser cant do flash. I could live without YT, but I can def see how awesome it would be if you could access it. Its already been stated that a Facebook AND Twitter app will be available for the HD. When, I have no idea, but it'll happen. Id like someone to make a gorgeous visualization app inside XNA for the HD that would change with the accelerometer and colours and whatnot. That'd be cool. Id also love a Warthog Jump app made.

^ The ipod touch and most smartphones have youtube apps, so I'm fairly positive they can put one on the zune.

Yeah I just remembered that YT requires flash OR java. I could care less honestly, YT has been a PoS ever since Google bought it.

Where do I start?

- YouTube, as mentioned
- Netflix video streaming. Now THAT would be a great feature.
- Calendar
- IM client (and not just MSN. Something like Adium or Pidgin)
- A Text Editor! I can't believe they weren't able to port frickin notepad.
- Skype. I'm not sure if that would work, but maybe with a headset it could be done?
- Pedometer
- Facebook, which I heard is coming
- Alternate browser like Firefox and Opera
- eBook reader

youtube app uses h.264 streaming to watch youtube vids (at least the ipod touch/iphone does..not sure about BB and others) so flash is not required to do youtube.

really all i hope for is Pandora, youtube and some 3-D games, and Hulu would be sweet.
not sure what the warthog jump app is but it sounds like fun...as long as it is Halo warthog jumping things....count me in...lol

I want a slingbox app.

I have a slingbox and think it would be nice to be able to connect and watch it wherever I am with a wifi connection. Itouch can do it I am positive ZuneHD can do it.

^ Smartphones and the Iphone have torrent clients. Sure, not something you'd use everyday, but when you're stuck at school for 2 hours with nothing to watch...

^Then you can spend the two hours your bored at school to DOWNLOAD the movie, then the next time you can watch it then! ^_^ Or you can just do that on your PC then sync it.

Two hours? I can probably download a tv show in 30 minutes or less. It's like "Oooh I got the urge to watch Hannah Montana" and then BOOM! Miley Cyrus up in the hizzy.
