What Would You Change About the ZuneHD?

The ZuneHD is amazing, i love it alot, but there are a few things i would like changed in the firmware!

*A refresh button for the browser
*To delete songs off of the Now playing list
*To only be able to unlock with the top button (while asleep, not off, i hit the home button on front and it turns on while its in my pocket, thus killing my battery all day)
*A Calender and Notepad included in the firmware
*The clock and battery life to actually be visable (in more places then it is)

who knows, maybe ms will be reading this and agree!

Robobandit	I would like the option to install a 3rd party mobile browser. That is really the only complaint I have about the device.

Berty	hmm, can u elaborate on that. What dont u like about the current browser? What browser would you pr.....HOLY ****, THERES A BLACK CAT STARING AT ME THROUGH MY WINDOW (IM ON SECOND FLOOR, HES ON MY WINDOW SILL!!!!) uh....wow, wtf........wat browser would you prefer?

icecubed17	You got almost everything But I want a brighter screen, I hope they can just make it brighter with a firmware update my OLED samsung phone is so much brighter. Fix the flickering screen when the wifi is on The browser lags hard when i open full websites like Engadget.

Berty	hmmm, my browser never really lagged, only a little (like any other moble browser) when zoomed in all the way and scrolling fast They can fix brightness on it through firmware, and i agree, i have been noticing how it is hard to see outside

maverick22	Before I bought it I didn't really pay attention to all the specs. I thought the screen was going to be a little bigger. I wouldn't mind a bigger screen & have the clock visible at all times. I DO love the HD though!

Adamd	So I found a refresh button on the browser! Where you can access your favorites if you click the empty space to the right of that button it will bring up where you can type in a URL other than searching for something on bing. And to the right where you can enter in a url is a refresh button! Enjoy

Berty	hmm, i noticed that. I wish that the bar could disapear or the refresh button to be on the bar! And Bing is very blurry in landscape

I agree about that bar needs to go away when viewing webpages. I mean the screen is already small and with it you lose even more space. I hope they fix that!!

Whoops...I just read the subject of the thread. I didn't read the OP's first line stating changes in "firmware."

I haven't messed around with the HD a whole lot yet. I just got it at like 9:30 last night, played around with it a little bit, & went to bed. So far I'm sticking with wish the clock was visible at all times though.

I just don't like IE as a browser.. I'd rather use Opera or something else.

The zune browser chokes on full versions of websites, and we all know it isn't because of the Tegra.

The scripting performance is awful.

Part of the problem I have with browsing is hardware based.. the screen has 50 less pixels height wise (in landscape) and a smaller size.. browsing is far better on my iPhone, imho.

The zune's browser isn't horrible compared to the average mobile browser, but I'd definitely rank it below mobile safari.

Berty	hmm, interesting. I found it to be much faster and more reliable then safari and screen size doesnt effect anything to me. just means its more portable, u can always zoom in and out

well it depends on if ur using an ipod or an iphone. ive found that safari is a lot faster imo on the iphone than the ipod. ie beats ipod but it may be a little slower on iphones 3g.

i cant believe im the first one to say FLASH!!!!!!!

turdbogls	really my only complaint is the headphone jack not being on the top of the player....other than that i love it....but i dont have the browser problems everyone else has
