lol tell me about it i can only imagine what microsoft have up their sleeves seems logical though look at the xbox 360 how many different versions of that are there? Like maybe 4 or 5 i would say.

I really wonder if the 16/32GB players are just meant for beta-testing by early-adopters. And the next batch of models will come with fixes whatever problems said adopters might find. (Hell, they better do it for the 64GB) It's a pretty common thing with electronics, I believe.

that would be kinda cool if they made all there players Touch you could have make the ones with less gigs just be smaller and a 64GB would be sweet

I am not sure that they have to much up their sleeves for now but I do see a possible 64 gig model sometime in November or sometime shortly after the new xbox update comes out in November which merges the zune marketplace with the xbox marketplace seems logical to me.

i'm thinking a Zune HD 120.
Like a hard drive version.
It would be thicker but even still..

Think about it.. they discontinued the current zunes..i honestly don't think microsoft is stupid enough to not have a Hard Drive player.

If they did do that, it'd make people like me VERY happy seeing as my music collection is 30 gigs. and have 20 gigs of movies.

Just my thoughts..
Maybe stupid but i wouldn't rule it out..

hmm i dont think that would work too well maybe if apple pulled a hardrive version of their touch but hard drives are slow an bulky flash is getting cheap and it is very quick.

Yea it really does look like a typo, as they are saying that those other zunes can only use the composite cable and not the HDMI.

e.g. plain PAL/NTSC TV Out...

I don't think the 80 and 120 were discontinued, they are both for sale on zunestore.net. Also, I think this is probably a typo. I don't expect microsoft to have hidden hardware up their sleeves.

posting from my zune HD 32!!!!!!!! landscape keyboard ftw. ya i bet ms is gonna have some touch screen internet tablet. likely to compete with apple's upcoming iPad.

well... the zune hd has... everything.. or at least just about everything they can put into a PMP. the only things it doesnt have is a GPS, 1080p video, sd slot and the ability to play full games. i think. i shouldnt say that, i dont know the power of the tegra. but what i do know is they cant do much else to the zune except make it a phone. or make it smaller, wich seems to be where everything else is going

ahh, idk. i think they should make the (new) zunes made for web browsing. like maybe a small slideout keyboard, flash capability and a longer lasting battery. thats just my opinion. but chances are it wont happen because its not that practicle..

but i think they should stick with the tackticle, for people who dont like spending lots of money, dont want anything fancy and like the zune software.


and one question, i read that to use the zune HD you need to give it a firmware update or something, any chance it is for flash? or did i misread something
